Recently we visited
to experience #HighOnPower Cocktail Festival which had drinks inspired by famous Political figures The concept sounded toooooo interesting and when its conceptualized by their Bar Director and our close friend Guru, we had to try it..
Following are the cocktails we tried during the evening, I will refrain from using political figure names here, but pictures and name of cocktails are enough to guess it all ;)
From Russia with Love
Frozen Snow Drink with Flavors of Vodka and Elderflower, Drink was a smooth and refreshing, with smooth flavors of vodka and elderflower.
Amazing summer drink, I can have it all afternoon and evening. -- Highly Recommended

The BARlusconi
Campari, Grapefruit and Jim Beam Whiskey based cocktail was loud but nice. Basically good for people who like their drinks strong.

Italian Duddu
Cream, Milk, Butter, Sugar, Caramel Syrup and White Rum with Star Aniseed.
Not my type of cocktail, didnt like it a lot.

The SourKozy
Gin, Champagne, Lemon Juice and Sugar. Again a very refreshing cocktail.
The combination was just working well and lemon zest was working great in cocktail -- Highly Recommended

The Drinktator
Classic Jinro (Soju) served with Plum Fruit, it was like a neat shot, was missing my salt and lemon.
Really enjoyed Plum soaked in Soju, would have made a difference if Plum would have been soaked for a bit longer time.

Merky Waters
Jagermeister with Almond, Pineapple and Orange Bitters.
Nicely floured drink, recommended for someone with preference of nutty drink.

Namojo
This one was only mocktail being served, with blend of Carrots, Orange and Elder Flower Syrup was nice and cooling drink, would have loved to have more carrot juice in it.

Warm Wine, Honey, Spices and Brandy, had unusual mix of spices and wine which was making a great blend, this one is a warm cocktail so be aware.
Overall a great drink in itself and can work well with lighter food. -- Recommended

Potus Passion
Passion Fruit, Lime, Ginger Juice, Beer and Jim Bean Whiskey.
Different flavor and was amazed to have a beer with this combination, though beer flavor was not coming out, but overall a great summer drink -- Recommended

Roasted Nuts with Jim Bean Whiskey, Caramel, Honey and Campari.
Drink was not good for my pallet but must be good for someone liking strong and sweet combo.

Festival is on till 6th Aug and drinks are in the range of Rs 450-650.
We recommend to rather try the Power sampler which are priced at Rs 650 for 5 samplers
and Rs 1250 for 10 samplers and locate your favorite political drink :)
