COACH OPENS NEW STORE IN UB City, BANGALORE
Coach, a global design house of modern luxury leather goods, apparel and lifestyle accessories, announces the opening of its new store in Bangalore, India.
Located at the UB City, the 65 square-meter space was designed by Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers in partnership with William Sofield, designer and president of Studio Sofield. Featuring the brand’s distinctive modern luxury concept, the store environment is warm and inviting, with leather and natural wood finishes that reflect the sophisticated yet playful refinement of
New York – the city Coach has always called home.
Drawing from a wide range of influences, the modern luxury concept
places a premium on contrasting textures and luxe materials. Throughout
the space is a mix of custom-designed cabinetry fabricated from natural
and ebonized ash, blackened steel, antique bronze and mahogany trim. The
store interiors consists of reclaimed heart-pine wood flooring with
custom hand-tufted wool carpeting and statement mid-century furniture
punctuating the elegant lines and muted colors.
The store will feature a wide assortment of Coach merchandise for women and men including bags, small leather goods, footwear, watches, travel accessories, scarves and jewelry. The new location will also carry coveted handbags from Coach 1941, the brand’s runway collection.
