Hi Everyone,
1. Layering works like magic when you need to hide your belly fat. Waterfall or straight designs can both work and will create a nice vertical line which will lengthen you and distract the eye from your belly. Right now long vests are very popular which are perfect for creating long lean vertical lines.
2. Draping is great. Go for clothes, whether a top or a dress that is draped over the belly area. Peplum waist and Frills are also a brilliant idea to hide your belly fat. I also love floaty fabrics, or dresses that flare out over my tummy (like the one which I am wearing here from Max Fashion )
3. Go for darker colors, I'm not just talking about black, but you can explore a bit more with other dark shades as well.
4. Below the knee dresses are always a great. The below-the-knee hem seems to elongate the body. Whether it's a Kaftan dress on the beach or an evening gown inspired by the traditional Kaftan shape.
5. A big NO goes out to clingy material, instead go for firmer fabrics that are structured with a little lycra. Pencil skirts OR The sheath-style dress. They look best in fabric that has a bit of structural integrity, so choose sturdy over flimsy.
6. When it comes to jeans, pick a mid-rise pair as it sits flat on your stomach. Also, featuring higher waist and extra panels of Lycra, high rise leggings are made to tame your midsection. Top with a tunic.
7. To make legs look longer, opt for a sleek, pointy pump (no rounded toes, please; pointed is back). Avoid any shoe that’s skimpy and strappy.
8. Prints can hide your pooch—especially when they’re used in strategic splashes. The busy print, in a large- and small-scale mix, is intelligent enough to camouflage that bulge.
9. Another of my favorite secret tricks is to show a little cleavage or some leg to detract attention from my tummy. I wear strong colors and patterns for that same reason.
10. Last but not the least. Posture matters a lot. Walk straight...Don't hunch. Tummy will behave automatically.

My eyes are awestruck and I can only see stripes everywhere !!
However, choosing a right striped dress is such a tricky job...especially when stripes can highlight you at wrong points.
All of us always have had a tummy, but it has nothing to do with our lifestyle, which is very healthy (no assumptions!!)
It may be your genes or just blotting !!
Whatever is the reason, we always go for quick solutions -
- The first one is shape-wear! Shape-wear holds up the tummy and you can wear anything you like on top of it.
- The second solution would be oversized bags. Why? Basically, oversized bags help hide the problem area.
If you are not comfortable hiding behind these shortcuts, you can easily create the impression of being slim.... How??
I rely on clever dressing to conceal my stomach.
Here sharing my secrets for those bad days -
