Tea for your Soul : Sublime House of Tea

Hi Everyone,

In the modern times people are becoming informed about health and fitness, we realise importance of antioxidants and to beautify yourself inside out.

I am a big fan of green tea and Rohit having his roots in Kashmir, loves drinking Kahwa natural tea from Kashmir. I am also in love with Kahwa and other green teas, but always on look out for green teas which can be a bit easy on taste buds and still provide all the benefits to beautify you from inside.

Last week we were happy to experience one such family of tea called
‘Sublime House of Tea’

Green Long Ding

‘Sublime House of Tea’, started in 2013 by Uzma Irfan - Executive Director, Prestige Group and Founder, Sublime Galleria. Sublime’s portfolio of fine tea presents a mix of the classical, the popular and the avant-garde.
From sought-after bouquets such as Green Tea, Assam Tea and English Breakfast to intriguing localised brews like Moroccan Mint, and Seventh Heaven, eclectic admixtures like White Tea with Raspberry, the complex flavours of herbal tisanes like Rose in Bloom and Chamomile to single garden limited edition quality period pure Nilgiri teas like OP Supreme, White Tea, Frost Tea and Green Delight, there is a tea to suit every palate and occasion.

Moroccan Mint
‘Sublime House of Tea’ has been credited with introducing certain flavours to the Indian market that were hitherto unavailable here, including exotic brews like Seventh Heaven, Wellness Brew and Green Long Ding, which are extremely sought- after in several places across the globe. Another differentiator is that the tea is packed in pyramid tea bags, rather than the regular filter paper tea bags, thus further enhancing the taste of the tea by giving the fullness of the liquor.

Yummy Macaroons from Cafe Noir

Adds Uzma Irfan, “A majority of Indians are tea-drinkers but with the advent of several international and national coffee chains in India, ‘catching up over a coffee’ became a trend. This was essentially because of strong marketing tactics as well as a lack of tea cafes in the country.

Seventh Heaven

‘Sublime House of Tea’ was started with the intention of introducing these niche flavours and blends to the Indian market while creating awareness of their positive health effects, thus giving people more options as in the long run, tea has less caffeine than coffee and is a healthier beverage option. Also, with the increasing presence of expatriates and NRIs across the key metros, Sublime aims to offer them exotic flavours with Indian premium tea as base".

Currently, ‘Sublime House of Tea’ is available on the shelves of the Gourmet stores of Food World in MG Road, Bangalore Club and Whitefield. It is also available at Sublime Galleria (UB City). In addition, it is being served at Café Noir, Amande, Oakwood and Aloft Cessna Hotel in Bangalore apart from the Kargreens House of Shisha in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Café Noir is also retailing the ‘Sublime House of Tea’ packs at their cafes including the one at BIAL. It is also available at Nature’s Basket (pan India) and Big Basket.com

Currently, in this winter season, Limited Editions of ‘Sublime House of Tea’ is available in a few exclusive flavours including White Sparkle, Frost Tea, OP Supreme and Green Delight.

We were not able to stop ourselves but to pick few packs for us.
