Hi Everyone,
Need I tell you that BOLD Prints are a hot trend this season. May be leopard, zebra, birds, owl, fruits or floral. I will be wearing a lot of them throughout ... for not only this season but also for upcoming seasons as well. For today, I was happily hopping around in my beautiful bird print dress by Sheinside.com. Its so subtle, elegant and need not to mention comfortable to T. Those pockets made it my personal favorite.
Playing with animal prints could be a dangerous game, as one can easily slope into fashion faux pas (if not styled well). Here are some basics, which I keep in mind while compiling animal prints -
1. Stick to one print - I try to stick to one print and one piece theory, unless and until, I am in super experimental mood. So just pick one print and compile your outfit around it.
2. Simplicity is great - Keep your printed piece as the focus of the look and let rest of the look rest in simplicity. In my case, I opted for muted and earthy tones, in my shoes, bags and belts.
3. Pastels are animals best friend - Yes, they do. Pastels not only balance the fierceness of the animal prints, but also, make the prints look spicy.
4. Highlight the details - Look for a Special shoe, Don a statement Cuff, Mix in Gold, throw in an exclusive bag and don't forget to Spotlight Your Waist.... ta daaa ... you are ready to rock animal prints for the night out.
