Hi Everyone,
The best of readers’ Street Style photos from around the world are featured by 'The New York Times'.
Pretty pastel hues popped up all over the Spring runways from various top designers such as Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Miu Miu, and Lanvin. I love colorful clothes, specially the feminine color palette – lavender, mint green, candy pink, burnt coral, and sky blue — and all of the styling possibilities that come with it. Already experimented with pastels and neons here and I am glad you friends liked it.
This time I opted for the best candy-colored hues to add to my current wardrobe and right into Spring/Summer season. Moment I saw these colors, I decided to go for hot trend - Color Blocking :) My fashion definition for color blocking is the technique of wearing two or more solid colors in one outfit. I restricted to two beautiful colors here and saved more colors for next post :)
Few tips while I compiled the color blocking look -
1. More the Merrier : This rule does stand risky here (unless you are super risk savvy). 2-4 colors makes you look trendy...more than that...you need to show me HOW !!
2. Play with Accessories : Not only outfits, involve your shoes, bags, jewellery and belts to play color-blocking !! I tried it with my shoes here
3. Avoid Prints : I love prints, however, they are not part of color-blocking trend. Use solid colors and enjoy !!
4. Balance is the key : Try keep accessories to minimal...Best ones are golden accessories and nude shoes to balance the entire outfit.
So, lets go rocking....This outfit is perfect for Brunch, Casual outing, Clubbing, Movie or Music Concert.
