Hello Everyone,
Spring/Summer 2012 is in wings and all we fashionistas are already shopping to ready our wardrobe for the upcoming season. Sales are ON everywhere, however I will advise not to go overboard and be choosy while picking up the stuff that will help you glide through S/S 2012 (sound right?) Errr...So whats on the trend for the season....hmmm....Here, I am compiling a few items to get you on trend -
1. Colored Denims - Denim colors got bolder this spring. Pick anything from green, electric blue, red and pink and pair them with flowing sheer shirts in white (Bang on trend you are )
2. Do you Crochet? Well it's back... Crochet vests are big this spring, maybe you can look to the back of your closet .... you might have a bit of a crochet number waiting (money saved *smile*)
3. Neons - Take Neon colors with a pinch of salt this season as they are no longer considered a faux pas in fashion. You can try neon colored accessories, clothes as well as nail art however take care not to go overboard with the strong colors. I'll do a separate post on how to incorporate them into your outfit...As of now go hunt and make them your own :)
4. Pastels — Go for flowing pajama - styles, tunics in girly shades like Blush Pink, Mint Green, and Powder Blue which define this category....All meant to be classical, and again comfortable.
5. Black And White — This is such a classic combination which is timeless yet strong this season. Believe me, you will turn out to be a stunner with this combo every time. Must try this spring :)
6. Tangerine Tango — This is THE color of 2012. Lets face it there is no other color can make a loud fashion statement as orange. So you need a new dress? Make it an orange.
7. Stripes and Polka Dots - Stripes and Polka Dots seem to hold a place in fashion year after year. You can't go wrong wearing stripes and polka dots. So your wardrobe is incomplete without at least one of these pieces.
8. High-Waisted flare pants are so big this spring... However they ar abit tricky to wear... I suggest you pair this style of pants with a great heel. Dont forget to flash up the look with a flashy thin belt.
