Who does not love surprises..
Shalini also loves it when I surprise her with something new.
We both were away on travel for sometime now and had a very limited time to catchup on things.
I came to know about
Toscano Wednesday Date nights
And that these are for those special couples for whom all the days are to celebrate love.
I immediately booked a table for us and was excited about the same.
I didnt tell Shalini about the table and told her about shopping on Wednesday at VR mall, and she being the biggest Shopoholic was excited and immediately planned for it.
After our good shopping spree e headed for Toscano where we were welcomes with romantic table setup just for us.
You guys should have seen the surprised face of Shalini.. :)
Ambiance and Table setup was very tastefully done and was very romantic, to add to it they have a live music setup which adds the overall experience.
We enjoyed some live music with wine at the bar and then moved towards table setup specially for us for the evening.
Our 3 course meal at Date Nigh started with
Primo-First course
We love Salmon, so the obvious choice was Salmon for first course.
Asparaji Avvolti -- Highly Recommended
Smoked salmon wrapped tender Asparagus with capers, pickled cucumber, dill sour cream & soft boiled eggs
Salmon was just perfect and went well with wine.
Main course
Lobster thermidor -- Highly Recommended
Oven baked rock lobster thermidor served with mixed greens, buttered asparagus & garlic toast
Lobster was cooked to perfection, not chewy.. and had amazing herbs combined to provide amazing flavour.
Classic Chicken Parmigiana
Cheesy baked breaded chicken breast served with mixed greens, mixed berries & spaghetti pomodoro
Dolce- Romantic desserts
Red Velvet Cake with cream cheese frosting, crème Anglaise & vanilla ice cream -- Highly Recommended
Mille Feuille of crunchy almond disk with hazelnuts mousse
All the dishes had a hidden heart in them for you to spot.. Nice thought by chef!! :)
The overall experience was very special and we were happy to have tried Wednesday Date Nights at Toscano. They have elaborate menu designed specifically for Date Nights and Toscano staff need a special mention, they were alert and attentive, served your meals with smile.
I would really recommend you to try this experience with your loved one, it will be registered in memories for life..
