Comparing : OPPO F1 Plus vs iPhone 6S

I read a lot of online blogs that OPPO F1 Plus looks similar to iPhone, and I must say that at the first glance it might look identical, and to some it may be difficult to differentiate between the two.

But when you touch and feel the two phones differences are evident.
To me iPhone 6s was heavier even with smaller dimension and smaller screen size.
Oppo F1 was slim and lighter, curved edges looked more smoother to me with OPPO F1 Plus (but thats a personal choice, some might like it in iPhone)
Placement of bands towards the back gave symmetrical elongated feel to the phone which looked eye catchy.

Thanks to its almost non-existent bezels (1.66mm) on the left and right side of the display, front screen looks visually merging into the metallic curves, which also added to keeping the phone dimensions to minimum and making it comfortable to operate even with 5.5 inch screen.
Overall look and feel of Color OS 3.0 is almost similar to iOS, and with 4GB RAM OPPO F1 Plus looked to be performing at par with iPhone.
3 D gameplay was good in OPPO F1, but the Overall game load time was better in iPhone

OPPO F1 Plus is slimmer than iPhone and its curves give subtle and sleek look, following image shows clear curve placement of the two phones.

Both iPhone and OPPO camera provides similar features and filters, But few options of OPPO F1 Plus just stand out completely.

OPPO F1 Plus has Expert mode which gives you freedom to have manual control on camera setting and it opens another dimension for your if you are a photo enthusiast and want that perfect click with your phone acting as a handy DSLR (I have to try this feature though)
Live picture mode of iPhone is great which can be replayed with 3D touch, but it is no fun when you transfer the same picture to another mobile or laptop, rarther I liked Gif Animation feature of OPPO which lets you make a quick Gif Animation and can be reused in another phone/laptop.

Comparing : OPPO F1 Plus vs Samsung A7

OPPO F1 Plus and Samsung A7 are competitors in this mobile price segment.
Both have 5.5 inch screen, 13 MP rear camera and overall dimensions are almost similar accept that OPPO F1 Plus is slimmer and lighter than Samsung A7.
OPPO F1 Plus has 16 MP front camera where are Samsung A7 hosts only 5 MP front camera.
OPPO has Big plus point with selfie lovers.
All Metal in OPPO F1 Plus, wherein Samsung A7 has Glass back, it more about choice, both look equally beautiful.

Both have a similar home button with fingerprint scanner
Now it comes down to geometrical shapes, OPPO F1 Plus is curvy whereas Samsung A7 has curves and lines dimension the corners which gives good grip to the phone.
Performance wise I found OPPO F1 Plus performing slightly better than Samsung A7
Thanks to 4GB Ram and optimized software/hardware in OPPO F1 Plus

Final Verdict

Priced at Rs. 26,990, OPPO F1 Plus is an interesting device, which brings a large amount of features to the table.
Starting from being slim lightweight and easy to hold/navigate. 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, Corning Gorilla Glass 4, VOOC fast charge, and fingerprint reader provide it all the positives you would be looking at when buying your phone.
With the best possible 16 MP selfie camera in market F1 Plus can give even high end phones a run for their money.
iPhone resemblance might be good or bad for certain users, but feature spectrum, touch and feel are completely different.
