Restaurant Review - Banjara Melting Pot

Today our food journey took us to Banjara Melting Pot, Cunningham Road.

Banjara Melting Pot is the fusion of two cordon bleu brands belonging to two equally vibrant cities - Mumbai and Bengaluru (Melting Pot & Banjara). The delectable “Jugal-Bandi” of two Culinary Stalwarts from Bangalore & Mumbai (Mr.Prakash Shetty & Mr.Dhananjay Shetty) resulted in the birth of Banjara Melting Pot.




Pan-aromatic Asian menu which has now become an essential ingredient in all sections of the culinary world,  traditional Indian to the exotic Thai and the mystic Oriental dishes, and to top it all the best of Coastal Cuisine in line with the authenticity and nutrition of regional cooking are the specialties offered at Banjara Melting Pot restaurant.

At Banjara Melting Pot you can choose between an elaborate multi-cuisine fare paired with international wine and the best of Single Malts. Browse, touch and select your selection right till the exact spice and flavor of your choice, pioneered by the online iPad menu. Each and every detail, from hygiene to service, matches nothing less than a five star grade facility in an exclusive ambience. Ambiance is very soothing and attractive with elaborate bar. Lightening is just perfect to have a relaxed afternoon/eveningand Banjara Melting Pot is conveniently located at Prestige CentrePoint, Cunningham Road with Valet Parking which alleviates all parking hassles.

Following menu items we tried...

Veg Starters

1) Paneer Ke Shikanje : Cottage Cheese stuffed with green chutney marinated in chatpata masala with tomato and green pepper grilled with charcoal.

2) Chilly Basil Mushroom: Button mushroom tossed with Burnt chilli sauce, Basil leaf and flavoured with chilli garlic. 
Show stopper for veg section and one of the best mushroom dish we have recently tried.

3)Honey Chilli Potato: Crispy fried potatoes tossed in honey plum sauce, chilli flakes and Chef's
special sauce.

Murgh Lalwari Kabab - Chicken stuffed with spinach, cheese and garlic marinated in special red tandoori masala

Non Veg Starters

1) Murgh Lalwari Kabab: Chicken stuffed with spinach, cheese and garlic marinated in special red tandoori masala.
 Show Stopper for Non Veg section and completely different from our regular chicken tikka. The texture is cripy and the burst of flavours in our mouth take you to the next level.
2) Char Grilled Fish: Choice of fish marinated in special masala,herbs, lime and crushed black peppercorn, and char grilled in Tandoor.

3) Prawns Ghee Roast: King Prawns marinated in  a special masala, Kashmiri chilli paste and roasted with Desi Ghee. Again one of the amazing prawn dish we have tried in some time.

Main Course: Veg

1) Phalguni Subzi: Mixed Vegetables and fresh methi cooked in a light coriander sauce and garnished with roasted garlic.
Phalgui Subzi is something different and creative, veg lovers can look forward for ordering. It is a bit on dry side so make sure you eat Neer Dosa with it.

Main Course: Non Veg

1) Fish Ghassi: Choice of fish cooked in a typical Mangalorean manner with a base of coconut and Chef's special spices and masala.


Overall a great restaurant and we will recommend it for your next dining experience.
