Fall Trend | How to style Ponte Pants

Hi Everyone,

If Loving Ponte Pants Is Wrong, I Don't Wanna Be Right ...

The power of ponte has spoken and it shall be embraced .... get yourself a pair of ponte pants. If leggings aren't really your thing, but you want the same look, try ponte pants. They are AMAZING!

What are ponte pants? They are a cross between a legging and a skinny jean. They are made from ponte – a thick, double-knit fabric with two-way stretch. Two way stretch is important because it moulds to your body-shape and holds you in at the same time. Crafted with a stretch waistband and seaming details, generally with faux fly and pocket detail.

Here I feature floral print ponte pants which are designed in unbelievably smooth and slightly thicker stretch ponte knit, this smashingly skinny pair flaunts exposed zip pockets for revved up style !!

Here are few tips and tricks which I kept in mind while styling them -

1. It’s thicker than a viscose so if you’ve been scared of clingy clothing, this is one to definitely try. Ponte pants are a great alternative to leggings if you’re wanting more coverage but please remember it’s best to still style them like leggings with a longer top or tunic.

2. The thicker fabric offers a little more support because ponte pants are often panelled. Buy your ponte firm and let it do some sucker-in work for you. It will pull in that tummy and lift a butt #Dreamcometrue

3. Most ponte pants are pull-on, so no annoying zips and buttons. Ponte pieces are designed to streamline your body and make you look taller.

4. Wear them like you would a skinny jean – remember, it’s all about balance. It’s all about contrast. Take a ponte skirt, pants or jacket – there’s structure going on there. To balance out the structure, work ponte back with soft and floaty pieces. Ponte pants are GREAT with oversized jumpers, cardigans and tops.

Till next time....Keep it STYLISH By Nature !!
