If you’re a part of a reputed MNC and at a decent position business events are something you regularly end up going for. Be it for networking, client events or just an office award function, business events have become an integral part of ones work.

When it comes to dressing up for a work related event, it is important to not over or under dress as you are constantly going to be noticed. Work ethics require you to carry yourself off in the best possible way.

Here are some important factors you need to keep in mind
while dressing up for a classy business event:

1. Stick to solids: Solid hues are great for such events. A Colour like blue is a perfect combination of fun and confidence. Keep prints to a minimum. Prints in neutral colours such as white which are minimal on your outfit look great.

2. Length of the dress/skirt: When it is a classy event, it is important to keep the “formal” factor in mind. Dresses and skirts which are below knee to ankle level are apt for such events.

3. Accessorizing: Accessorize your look but keep it minimum. A hand clutch, classic watch and sleek earrings are probably all you need to get going.

4. Make up: If you have successfully kept your entire look subtle, you can keep have your make up done well. I personally prefer keeping the eye make-up in focus and the rest of my face nude. Creates the perfect balance!
