Someone wise once said “Every day is a fashion show and the
world is your runway”.
Those were exactly my thoughts when I wore this
embellished high slit gown.
The slit, the back and the detailing on this gown
truly makes me want to walk down the red carpet.
Embellishments are here to stay and an embellished gown is
perfect if you need to get dressed up but are lazy. The gown itself has so much
going on that you don’t have to add any accessories or any loud make up to
looks great.
A pair of earrings and basic makeup, and this look is good to go!
Embellishments add an instant touch of glamour without too much effort.
If you’re planning on attending a friends’ cocktail night
and don’t want to go the typical Indian way, this gown maybe your answer. Even
in such a case do not go overboard with your accessories.
I have paired the
gown with a set of earrings as the neckline is deep.
Adding long earrings does
create some balance.
Also remember that wearing subtle colours work when your
dress is too embellished.
Anything loud, let it be accessories, makeup or
colour on such a gown will look too loud.
