With wedding season in full swing, the first edition of India Bridal Fair brought in joy and best of bridal couture to Bangalore at Shangri-La Hotel.

It was an honor and pleasure for me to walk the ramp as Showstopper for 'The Attic Gray'a brand which inspired me with their Bespoke collection !

The collection, 'Adorn - 2016', is The Attic Gray's festive and wedding wear collection for 2016. Whether you are you are a bride, or attending a wedding, or need something unique for this festive season, this collection has got it all. This collection is consciously eclectic, underlining individual traits that make every woman unique.

Using only the richest fabrics, this collection is imbued with intricate hand embroidery. These, combined with beautiful sillouettes including fish cuts, trumpet cuts, layering, dramatic flares and interesting drapes make up a collection of a variety of designs which are sure to suit any individual taste.

Designer Ramya, who received overwhelming response about the collection, said - "This collection is an ode to all the different types of women I have had the pleasure of dressing through the last 9 years that I have been designing. I have tried to reflect one individual trait in each of my garments, such as, the showstopper outfit worn by Shalini Chopra reflects the brilliant duality of today's woman - modernity coupled with our strong ties to tradition."

About 'The Attic Gray'

Inspired by the book, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde; The Attic Gray is the brain child of Ramya R. Girimaji, who recognized a dearth in the market of quality luxury goods for the modern consumer who is well travelled, exposed to global trends and is well informed. Ramya's love for the book along with her philosophy of 'battling insecurities through fashion', inspired the name 'The Attic Gray' - metaphorically representing Dorian Gray's attic as our minds, and the ever-deteriorating portrait as our growing insecurities with our bodies.

She, along with her partner Anirudh Prasad, conceptualized a space which would cater to the needs of the global consumer by providing an all-encompassing offering of products, handcrafted and customized to suit an individual’s taste.

The objective of the brand is to provide the client with an individualised shopping experience. They aim not to limit their clients in the designs available, but allow them the freedom of choice with their range of one of a kind products.
