A beloved staple from childhood days that we’ve grown up with,
dungarees have graduated to become a playful look that says retro and modern in the new-old-fashioned-way.
This summer my Denim Dungarees are the hardest working member of my wardrobe !!
Trying to make dungarees seem fashionable may seem a bit ironic, but that’s kinda the whole point. It’s a quick and easy, slightly geeky look that can be paired with literally any top – white tee, breton stripes, off the shoulder gypsy frills or checked shirt.
Short denim overalls are my favourite!
I love how cute and adorable they look, giving off that western theme, yet when styled right they can look so current!
The lighter blue slouchy styles are the best and the most versatile.
For a more fun and flirty look with a retro vibe, I paired the short denim overalls with a cropped top, some fun sneakers, sunglasses and some accessories!
When I say with a plaid shirt, I’m simply referring to tying the shirt around the waist or coverup.
This is a really vintage inspired, yet playful look that seems up to date!
