Says Ayushmann, "This is my first hero film technically, wherein my character is not just portrayed as an underdog. He becomes successful and also experiences failures at other times. So, this is more a hero-centric film. Otherwise the kinds of characters that I have played till now were very real. This is a fantasy, though based on true events. It's based on realism and myth but I feel like a hero."
