Hi Everyone,
2. Prints: The prints on any garment can totally change the garments vibe. A plain crop top and skirt will give you a western look, but a crop top and skirt with Kalmkari prints will add an Indian vibe to the otherwise western outfit
Till next time....Keep it STYLISH By Nature !!
What is fashion without some fusion?
And, don’t we all love to try on different looks to get rid of the same old
boring look. I personally love trying out new styles as long as they speak my personality.
One such style would be an indo western look. It keeps me close to my roots and
lets me keep up to the present trending styles.
Getting the indo western look can be
done in many ways. Various elements such as accessories, prints, footwear or
even the garment itself can add a touch of Indian to your otherwise western
look.
Elements that will help you create
the indo western look:
1. Footwear: I consider this to be one of the most important elements of any look. If you happen to be wearing a western outfit, footwear options like juttis, mojris or Kolhapuriswill help you add an Indian touch to the entire look.

3. Accessories:
India is known for the ethnic accessories such as Bangles, Payals, Bindis, Toe
rings etc. Adding two or more of these to a western outfit will add the
contrasting effect of Indian on western.
I put on the look by having the
Indian tie and die print on a long ankle touching gown. The material of the
gown being cotton, keeps the look associated with the Indian feel. The Indian
elements you add to the look helps in giving variation to the outfit. I decided
to let the look be subtle in terms of the Indian elements added and hence stuck
by only the print and material of my outfit.
You could add more elements
depending on how you want to look.
The cold shoulder sleeves of my
dress, stilettoes and
the rest of the accessories give the western feel to the
look.
