Gourmet Express Sublime Singapore festival

Hi Everyone,

It’s time to go Singaporean!

Gourmet Express @ OKO – 10 days of epicurean journey presented “Sublime Singapore”

This February, the Gourmet Express at The Lalit Ashok brought “Sublime Singapore”- a ten-
day festival to feature the gastronomic heritage from the Hawkers Centres, Streets & By-lanes that indicate the ethnic diversity of Singapore’s culture and cuisine, from 1st February 2013 at OKO

The ten-day festival showcased a variety of Singapore’s culinary flavours & styles that are influenced by Malaysian, Indonesian, Chinese, & Peranakan traditions. Dexterous Chefs of The Lalit Ashok have dished out a delectable spread of Non-Vegetarian and Vegetarian Singapore delicacies like Hainanese, Chicken Rice, Char Kway Teow, Satays, Rojak, Nasi Goreng, Laksa, Rendang and much more.

We thoroughly enjoyed the live kitchen to order our own variants from the display of Seafood,Poultry, Meat, Tofu, & Veggies, along with the sauces/ gravies & cooking styles.

Special Mention : Chef Sanjeev Kumar is an amazing person and knows his food. Sanjeev has spent 17 years in various Asian countries experimenting with food, and with Sublime Singapore, Sanjeev brings Singapore Street food experience to India.
