Fine Wine ~ Four Seasons

Hi Everyone,

Starting in June 2006, the UB Group made headlines by being the first Indian company to acquire a premium French winery, Bouvet-Ladubay, and enter the wine business. Yesterday, I was invited to witness and taste the rich heritage myself. For this lively evening, I opted to wear a halter floral top, cigarette pants and box clutch !!

Me and My Bubbly !!

USL’s Wine Business in India operates through two companies – United Vintners Limited and Four Season’s Wines Limited. Today, under the guidance of Mr. Abhay Kewadkar, Business Head and Chief Winemaker, the Group plans to take the Indian wine industry to new heights. I couldn't be more excited to be a part of the family and share the Best of the Wines with you friends.

Savour the delight of Four Seasons

Whether it is the sprightliness of a fresh spring morning, the joyous warmth of a glorious summer afternoon, the tingling nip of a crisp autumn twilight or the biting chill of an icy winter night, to everything there is a season. And to every season, there is an experience.
An experience captured by Four Seasons selection of the finest Indian wines.

Taste the Rich Heritage !!
The event captured the spirit of high-end Bangalore vibration infused with the sizzling food from the grill of Baluchi exclusively by the renowned chef Nimish Bhatia. Wanna sneak into the wide spread...

Four Seasons Blush Rose Wine
'Blush' is a really delicious slightly fruity, slightly sweet with balancing acidity; refreshing and youthful. Blush goes well with Kebabs, tandoori dishes and other mildly spiced Indian and Asian foods.

To compliment the wine, chef had following menu -
Murg ki zaikedar potli ~ Khacche koyale ka khargosh ~ Khade masaale kI chap ~ Mirch Masale ki nazuk macchali ~ Khush mehak jhinga ~ Khumb hi khumb ~ Sataver or hari gobhi ki tikki ~ Doodh mutter ke kebab ~ Tawe ka bharwan khatahal
(Special mention: All Tandoori stuff was amazing and well prepared, with spices not overpowering the actual essence of meat or wine)

Four Season Barrique Reserve Shiraz Wine
'Shiraz' is rich, full-bodied wine offering smoky and earthy flavours on the palate and a pleasant finish with smooth velvety tannins. This wine is matured for 9 months in New French Oak Barrels. As Abhay rightly says "Wine are like people, all age, but a few mature". Drinking this wine you will rightly realize that, with 9 month maturation it had a right blend and was all over your palate.
Shiraz goes well with Indian Main Course dishes.

To compliment the wine, chef had following menu-
Subz aur seviyan ki biryani ~ Nazzuk murgh ke kofte ki biryani ~ Dal Baluchi ~ Bhurani raita ~ Ulte tawe ka paratha ~ Indian Breads
(Special mention Kofte ki biryani was amazing, and Wine went really great with the Main course served)

Four Season Barrique Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Wine
Zesty acidity carries the rich taste of the fruit well on the palate. Served with Desserts

To complement the wine, chef had following menu-
Assorted deserts
(Special mention Gajar ka halwa (wrapped in fine wheat flour coating) and Dark chocolate were my favorite, they had a special Nimish Bhatia twist to it)

Other items in menu
Canapés
Assortment of salads & relishes

Lovely Food Spread !!
