Hi Everyone,
Skinny Cargo are doing the rounds on fashion trends for the last few Springs. If you are limited and bored with only jeans, leggings or sweatpants – A pair of skinny cargoes will surely add variety to your wardrobe this Spring as well. They are available in army green, tan, navy, brown and gray. I’ve had my reservations about the comeback of the cargo trend, but once I tried them on, I couldn’t leave without them. Skinny cargo pants are a lot easier to style than I thought.
How to style skinny cargos was the big question. So, I am sharing some tips -
1. Neutralize the masculinity - Since the cargos give off a tough vibe with their utility pockets and ankle zippers...Try to incorporate something girly. This masculine trend looks amazing when paired with a floral or lace top.
2. Footwear Matters - Try sandals, ballet flats, wedges, or heels. For leg-lengthening effect....high-heeled ankle boots will do the trick.
3. Accessorize - Look forwards for scarves, bangles, rings, sunglasses, necklaces or a hat. I think this leopard-print scarf is perfect as it's just a little taste of leopard on the top of my outfit. Having animal print accessories is definitely the best way to try out a new trend without it overwhelming you.
4. Put it together - This trend looks great with a basic or colored blazer, basic jacket or a sweater would look great too! Since, I wanted to make my cargos a little more feminine, that's why added a plain cardigan in lovely hot pink bright color. I think that would look really cute as Spring 2012 is all about BRIGHTS!!
5. Occasion - This outfit is perfect for a date or night out with the girls. Pair a ruffly floral top with your skinny cargos for some chic contrast, and dress up the outfit with a pair of black pumps and a black blazer. Finish with some cute jewelry.
